    Juba, South Sudan – The National Parties Alliance (NPA)\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>held a three day conference between July 28th 2025 to July 30th, 2025. And today to announce the creation of a Joint Forces unit among its member parties. The NPA, comprised of the\u00a0South Sudan United Front \/ A – National Inclusive Movement (SSUF\/A-NIM),<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0the\u00a0Patriotic People’s Party \/ Force (PPP\/F),<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0South Sudan United National Front \/ Army (SSUNF\/A),<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0will now operate collectively under the banner of the\u00a0National Parties Alliance \/ Joint Forces (NPA\/JF).<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

    The decision to create a Joint Forces unit was made in response to several key factors, including:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. Strengthening Unity:<\/strong> By coming together under a single umbrella organization, the member parties of the NPA aim to strengthen their unity and coordination in working towards common goals and objectives.<\/p>\n

    2. Enhancing Effectiveness:<\/strong> By joining forces, the NPA member parties are able  to enhance their effectiveness in advocating for political change and promoting peace and stability in South Sudan.<\/p>\n

    The decision made to unify the forces under a single military command in the following order:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Greater Upper Nile Region <\/li>\n
    2. Greater Equatoria Region <\/li>\n
    3. Greater Bahr El-Ghazal Region <\/li>\n
    4. Abyei Administrative Area<\/li>\n
    5. Pibor Administrative Area <\/li>\n
    6. Ruweng Administrative Area<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      The objective of this unification is to prepare for any potential political and military developments in South Sudan. The National Parties Alliance Joint Forces (NPA\/JF)<\/em><\/strong> will serve as the foundation for building the future national army to ensure the protection of the people of South Sudan and their homeland.<\/p>\n

      It is important to note that the decision to create a Joint Forces<\/em><\/strong> unit does not signify a desire to wage war against the government of South Sudan. The NPA<\/em><\/strong> remains committed to peaceful and constructive dialogue as the way forward for resolving the country’s political challenges.<\/p>\n

      The National Parties Alliance \/ Joint Forces (NPA\/JF)<\/em><\/strong> looks forward to working collaboratively and strategically towards advancing the interests of the people of South Sudan<\/em><\/strong> and promoting a brighter future for the country.<\/p>\n
